1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1
This beautiful 1967, Series 1, 2+2 Jaguar E-Type has been totally restored in our workshops over the last 18 months, now approaching completion and is looking for a new home.
Bridge Classic Cars purchased the car in the UK but it was originally a Left Hand Drive USA market vehicle.
The car, in its Left Hand Drive form, was supplied in a rare combination of black with black interior and this has been retained in its new guise.
Everything on this car has been renewed or refurbished and the restoration journey can be seen on the the project section of the Bridge Classic Car, showing every stage of this wonderful restoration.
The car now:
The body shell and bonnet has been completely restored and painted in the original black colour scheme.
The engine which is not its original factory engine has been totally rebuilt by world renowned race engine specialists Scholar Engineering.
The gearbox and back axle have been rebuilt by Last Transmissions of Woodbridge.
The chrome work is either new or re-chromed at Wyatt Polishing in Thetford.
It now has been converted to Right Hand Drive as well as being fitted with air conditioning purchased from Clayton Classics in Coventry.
We normally make our own trim but we decided to purchase a complete trim kit from Aldridge Trimming in Wolverhampton.
The 72 spoke stainless wire wheels came from Motor Wheel Services of Slough.
All the dials were restored by Speedograph Richfield of Nottingham.
This may sound like adverts for other companies but here at Bridge Classic Cars we are not in the business of re-inventing the wheel, just building the best cars and using the best products available in the market place which leads nicely on to SNG Barratt and their team that helped make this car the best on the market today.
No stone has been left un-turned on this beautiful Jaguar E-Type and as stated before everything is either new or restored.
Brand new windscreen and heated tailgate, stainless steel exhaust, stainless 72 spoke wheels, tyres, chrome, leather, lighting and air conditioning.
This car has been built to concours specification and will only climb in value.
Part exchange for another classic will be considered.
The car will come with 6 months parts and labour warranty and includes a 2000 mile health check and service in our workshops in Ipswich.
Viewing is by appointment only as we do not keep all of our cars on the premises.
