1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow

Initially, the model was planned to be called “Silver Mist”, a natural progression from its predecessor Silver Cloud. The name was changed to “Silver Shadow” after realising that “Mist” is the German word for manure, rubbish, or dirt.

Our Silver Shadow is a very early model which has the much sought after and rare Chippendale dash and without the centre console, but still has the chrome bumpers like the later shadow 1.

Finished in claret over black with magnolia leather. It was exported to the United States where it remained as a 1 owner car until recently repatriated by Bridge Classic Cars

The car has not been restored but sympathetically recommissioned so as not to lose the years of patina.

There are room for improvements but she can be driven. We are leaving the new owner to decide what if anything is wanted.

There is no rust to speak of, good clean arches and very good chrome.

Engine, gearbox and electrics all appear to function as Rolls Royce intended.

The wood is fine but could be re-varnished to make perfect and the front seat has a couple of small tears.

She is very presentable and the paint work is excellent but not perfect.

Unrepeatable at this price for one of the rarest shadows in existence.
