1969 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Roadster
Enzo Ferrari was famously quoted as saying that he thought the Jaguar E-type was the most beautiful car in the world. It is a legendary line.
With Jaguar E-Types remaining in the hearts of so many, it is the ultimate British-made sports cars of the 1960’s.
With the Series 1 convertible’s out of reach for the most of us, the Series 2 convertible must be the ‘one’ to have, whether you are a discerning collector, investor, budding rally or race driver, weekend polisher or just a true enthusiast of everything great and British.
Bridge Classic Cars are known for concours restorations and our no purist approach to the standard car.
We build our cars to our customers exacting specifications and if we don’t have a customer we build cars that we want to own.
What we have for sale is a very rust free series 2 convertible.
It is a totally matching number car, originally finished in silver with black leather and is Left Hand Drive.
The car comes to us as a ten year stalled restoration and is complete and in exceptional condition.
Being sold as a restoration project we are selling the car as is but are happy to discuss any future works if the new owner would like our input.
The engine has being completely rebuilt by renowned engine builders Scholar Engineering at a cost of just under £10,000 and was completed a little over a month ago. A video of it running can be found within the projects section of our website.
The car is offered at £40,000 and this includes the newly rebuilt engine.
With Series 1 E-Type convertibles up and around the £200,000 plus mark this is a fantastic opportunity to own a concours car that will rise in value for rarity and the beauty that they are.
