1960 Jensen 541R Engine and Gearbox go in

This morning the engine and gearbox have gone into our Jensen 541R chassis. See below for a timelapse of John and Paul guiding the engine into place.

Decals go on our Ford Escort RS2000

It’s all in the finer details here at Bridge Classic Cars. Our Ford Escort RS2000 is now looking beautiful, we’ve applied pinstripe decals and badges. We’ll be sad to see this car leave us but we can’t wait to see it enjoyed by its owner once more.

Project Cafe Racer

The exciting Suzuki GSX 400T Cafe Racer project continues! We’ve stripped down the bike and are assessing which parts will be modified, which parts will be replaced and which parts will be surplus to requirements. We’ve had the engine running again and it looks to be in fairly good condition. Most of the work required on the bike will be cosmetic to fit it’s new, tougher Cafe Racer look. The next steps will see Paul, our motorcycle expert at Bridge Classic Cars Refurbishing parts that will be re-installed onto the motorcycle.

For Sale soon – 1970 Fiat 850 Spider

Here at Bridge Classic Cars we have recently purchased this red 1970 Fiat 850. Until it gets a thorough inspection from our Classic Car Technicians, we’re unsure on the extent to which this lovely Fiat will need restoring. This vehicle will be available for sale, either in it’s current form or as a restoration project.

The Fiat 850 Spider was introduced at the 1965 Geneva Motor Show and came with a 843cc Fiat engine. The 850 super-seeded the Fiat 600 and was manufactured until 1973.

Designed by legendary Italian automotive styling company, Bertone, this Fiat really does embody all the best features of 1960s Italian sports cars.

The 850 did have its critics but we can’t help but fall in love with this little Italian beauty.
