1972 Chevrolet El Camino

Revisit – Sending the 1972 Chevrolet El Camino to the Transmission Specialist

The 1972 Chevrolet El Camino is back with Bridge Classic Cars following a small leak from its automatic gearbox.

The El Camino recently had work done to its transmission by our trusted automatic gearbox specialists so when the owner called to say he had discovered a small leak we got the classic American muscle car booked back in to have the transmission revisited by Automatic Transmissions in Essex.

The team loaded up the car onto the trailer and strapped it down ahead of its journey south.

Back Safe and Sound – 1972 Chevrolet El Camino

The 1972 Chevrolet El Camino arrived back at the Bridge Classic Cars secure storage facility after having its automatic transmission repaired.

The El Camino came to use with an issue selecting any gear. So, the car was sent to a local trusted automatic gearbox specialist to be investigated and repaired for its owner.

Now with those repairs complete and the car safely back in our storage facility, it will be looked after by the storage team.

Going Forward – Sending the 1972 Chevrolet El Camino for a Transmission Rebuild

This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino has been stored at our secure storage facility, The Hangar, for some time now. But today it was time to get the classic American muscle car out and off to a local automatic gearbox specialist to have a look into why it won’t select any gears.

The customer had been taking the car to a show locally when all of a sudden the car just lost all forward and reverse gears. It was bought to us to investigate why this has happened so we have got a local specialist who works with all of our automatic gearboxes to help out on this project.
