Our Mustang Leaves Suffolk

We recently took our 2016 Ford Mustang GT from our secure storage facility at Bentwaters Parks and delivered it to the lucky winner, John Waddicar.

Everyone here loved the Mustang and we are very happy to hear that John is loving it just as much.

Drive It Day 2023 – Over £2000 Raised For The NSPCC

On Sunday 23rd April, Bridge Classic Cars hosted Drive It Day.

Starting at The Hangar, at Bentwaters Parks, around 150 cars arrived and were put on display. Tea and coffee were available and there was plenty of time to admire the wide variety of vehicles in attendance.

At midday, we all travelled, in convoy, to the Bridge Classic Cars workshop, in Pettistree – a journey of approximately 7 miles. Once here, there was musical entertainment from The Buskateers, food from Suffolk Fried Chicken and Otis Breading, and The Atelier bar was open too.

The whole day was a lot of fun and it was great to see so many classic car enthusiasts turn out and spend some time with us (despite the poor weather at times!). However, it wasn’t all about fun and cars – Drive It Day helps raise much-needed funds for the NSPCC, specifically Childline.

Our Drive It Day was a great success and more than £2000 was raised over the course of the day.

Everyone here at Bridge Classic Cars would like to thank everyone who came along and we hope to see even more of you at our future events.

A Mustang Returns

After spending a bit of time in the Bridge Classic Cars workshop in 2020 for some minor repairs before going into storage at The Hangar, our 2016 Ford Mustang GT is back!

This time, it’s back for a very exciting reason…it’s now a competition car that will be won through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions.

Our Mustang is loud, it’s fast, and it’s an eye-catching car that will be sure to get a whole load of attention wherever it ends up. You can enter the draw to win this stunning muscle car once it goes live on the Bridge Classic Cars Competitions website very soon.

Is this Sierra really rarer?

This 33-year-old Ford Sierra Cosworth is set to fetch a cool £100k at auction because it’s claimed to be ‘the best one in the UK’ of only 500 ever made.

We only have to take a look into our archives and current competitions to see that Fords are becoming increasingly popular.

Earlier this year we ran a Ford Mustang competition where over four thousand tickets flew off the shelf and one lucky winner was handed the keys after spending just £7.50 on his ticket.

We also ran a draw to win a 1991 Ford Sierra Sapphire which only had just over 4,500 miles on the clock. Another incredibly popular competition prize.

Our latest competition Ford is our awesome 1979 Ford Escort RS2000. A similar low-mileage MKII Escort RS2000, also finished in Diamond White, sold at Silverstone Auctions in 2017 for a whopping £97,000!

So could this mean the estimation on this Ford Sierra Cosworth could well be accurate? We’ll have to wait and see..

If you don’t happen to have 100 grand burning a hole in your back pocket though, you could spend just £15 on a ticket for our 1979 Ford Escort RS2000 competition instead and join our many classic car winners. It could well be worth a small fortune if Fords continue to flourish!

Repairing our 2016 Ford Mustang GT

Due to a small mishap in the town car park our 2016 Ford mustang GT is in our paint shop for a small repair and repaint.

The front bumper had been dislodged upon impact so Darren has been busy repairing the effected area; realigning the bumper, preparing and painting to make it good as new.

We are not just about full restorations here at Bridge Classic Cars, if you have minor paint repairs, body imperfections or any mechanical defects feel free to get in touch. With a full in-house service, interior and exterior, no job is too small. Call us and we’ll be more than happy to assist.

Smart Repair: 2016 Mustang 5.0 GT

Accidents can happen to your pride and joy. But fear not, our skilled technicians can help! We’re able to perfectly paint match to any colour and carry out smart repairs within our state-of-the-art paint shop.

This beast of a Mustang was unfortunately damaged recently and has come in for repair. We should be able to get this Ford Mustang back to top condition very soon.

Vehicle Sourcing: 2016 Ford Mustang 5.0GT

Our objective was to source a very beautiful example of the modern Mustang. Although our client is based overseas so mileage per year will be very limited, he wanted a low mileage, un-molestered example of the 5 litre GT in right hand drive.

This one owner example comes with a factory fitted Borla exhaust system and the previous owner was so particular over the car that it never experienced the rain so it is as good now as the day it left the production line.

The car will remain in storage with us for the majority of the year but during a recent visit back to the UK we met with our client for a drink and a meal at The Turks Head, Hasketon to hand him the keys to his new purchase.
