Supporting the Community – Bridge Classic Cars at Norwich City VS Watford.

As part of the collaboration between Bridge Classic Cars Competitions, Norwich City Football Club and Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, Bridge Classic Cars transported our stunning 2021 Final Edition Lotus Elise Sport 240 for the important match against Watford.

Beginning early, our transportation team loaded this stunning canary yellow sportscar into our secure, enclosed trailer for the quick trip across the border into the heartland of Norfolk. The car is of course a Lotus. Norfolk’s most well-known export and a perfect prize that will benefit an important local charity.

All the proceeds from the upcoming prize draw going to directly support this worthy cause. The Norwich City Community Sports Foundation helps young people within all communities, regardless of background or different abilities, to become more involved in the world of sports.

Lotus on display for opening game of the season

Not the start that Norwich were hoping for with goals from Diogo Jota, Robert Firmino and Mohamed Salah sending Norwich City to defeat on the opening day of the Premier League season at Carrow Road.

We were there at Carrow Road early to set up the Lotus Elise.

Unless they were attending Goodwood Festival Of Speed, this is the first time the Norwich City supporters will get to see our 2021 Elise in the flesh.

Bridge Classic Cars at the 2021 Helmingham Hall Festival of Classic and Sports Cars

What a weekend! Now we’re back at base, it’s time for a re-cap of another classic car-fueled weekend. After a canceled 2020 show, Helmingham hall played backdrop for a wonderful show. Charlotte and the Bridge team were all at the show to present our restoration projects and current competition lineup. We even closed out the show by drawing the winner of our 1959 Jaguar MK1 which was Shaun Clarke, with ticket number 1486.

Here are a few snaps we took at the show.

Were you at the show? It was lovely to meet so many of you yesterday.

“This is an incredible prize; all of the Elise Final Edition cars have been snapped up, so this is the only way to get your hands on one.

“As a trustee of the charity, I have seen first-hand the importance of its work and the impact it has on people in Norfolk.

“Without vital fundraising this work would stop, and many across Norfolk would be deprived of our support.

“We want to thank Lotus Cars for this incredible opportunity to boost our fundraising this year.”

Matt Windle, Managing Director, Lotus Cars, said:

“At Lotus, we are great supporters of the power of sport, not only for mental and physical wellbeing, but also how it can help inclusiveness amongst the community.
