1882 Dutch 'Stevenaak' Houseboat

1882 Dutch ‘Stevenaak’ Houseboat

Moored in one of Woodbridge’s most idyllic settings, with breath taking views over the River Deben and looking out over the world-famous Anglo Saxon remains at Sutton Hoo, we are pleased to introduce to market Aleida, our 25 metre Dutch Barge Houseboat conversion.

Now residing in Woodbridge, Suffolk, the boat was built in 1882 in Slikkerveer as a sailing barge, converted to a motor ship circa 1967 before being made into a residential vessel in 1995. The boat has been beautifully maintained over the years with incredible history and if boats could talk…wonderful stories to tell, having spent 6 years cruising the French canals previous to the 6 years spent with us here in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
