1937 Austin Seven Nippy

It’s always nice to see old friends. Carl and Lesley Fry are part exchanging their Austin Seven Nippy for our fully restored concours 1957 MGA. 1500cc.

They bought the Nippy last year and it has done probably done about 5000 miles as it has been its own little covered trailer with its coat on being towed behind their motor home.
It’s a lovely idea to turn up anywhere and enjoy your classic car.

1937 Austin Seven Nippy

This car was owned and restored by well the known classic car restorer and enthusiast Bert Chandler of Chandlers Garage Nedging Tye.

It only came to market after Berts death with three other Austin sevens and an Armstrong Siddeley.

This little Nippy has been beautifully restored with lovely gloss black paintwork, black wheels, black seats and grey carpets. Excellent chrome.

Berts wife hand made the hood and tonneau and it fits superbly.

During the rebuild It had its engine upgraded, runs on unleaded and pulls like a little train.

These are very sought after now with restoration projects fetching in the 13k to 15k range making this excellent value
