Just 7 owners from new, all having owned and loved the vehicle for long periods of time. The current owner is unfortunately having to sell the car due to ill health and has entrusted this beautiful machine with us here at Bridge Classic Cars. The car was used just a hand full times since it’s last MOT, enjoying sunny days and local shows, covering just 200 miles.
This seems to be a familiar story and the history of our Land Rover, described by the previous owner of covering 500 miles since 2013. The little use has certainly not meant the maintenance and servicing has been neglected, far from now in fact, with the history showing invoices for various work and servicing over the years.
First registered on the 15th February 1976 this is now a tax and MOT exempt vehicle with the benefit of the original chassis being galvanised therefore there is no need to worry about corrosion in the future.
This truly is a very special vehicle and a rare find. The fact that it retains all of its original panels and the chassis is completely original too. The engine and gearbox is matching to the original factory specification, the bodywork is superb, the panels are straight with no dents, scraps or major imperfections. The Deluxe front seat backs and bases are fantastic.
The un-molestered, original engine bay is in incredible condition with the original stickers still in place. The diesel engine starts and runs beautifully.
