1994 Piaggio Ape TM50

Bridge Classic Cars has for sale this unique and rare Piaggio Ape TM50 for sale. The Piaggio Ape is a wonderfully quirky van/scooter that are very popular in Europe and abroad for their small size and low running costs. The vehicle comes with its full UK V5 Registration.

We imported this particular example a couple of years ago as it had belonged to one of our in-house restoration technician’s Grandfathers who had used it for many years in Portugal.

The Ape has had several key pieces of work done to it. A full carburettor rebuild and throttle cable along with a new front wheel bearing in order for it to pass through its MOT.

The exterior condition of the Ape is fairly good. The turquoise/green paintwork is honest and if wanted, with a machine polish could come up very presentable. The inside is sparse but very practical with a motorbike style handlebar and the signature twist shifter found on most Vespas for many decades.
