Classic sports car for sale: 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 3.6 996. Available to purchase now we have our Black with Black interior 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4, covering 124,000 miles and beautifully maintained. Lots of money has been spent on the car, all in the right places. Brand new alloys sit on brand new tyres that were fitted just 800 miles ago. The car comes with a comprehensive service history file with every service being carried out by either Porsche themselves or Porsche specialists. As well as a superb history of stamped services, within the file, comes a large collection of receipts for works carried out to regularly maintain as well as improve the car.

Purchased by the current owner in February 2017 from Porsche specialist Finlay Gorham with 107,000 miles on the clock. In the past 3 years, the car has lived in the South of France, enjoying the sunshine. It has enjoyed many road trips, car club outings and has been present at some of the most prestigious car events in the world, including Goodwood and Le Mans. The current owner is a true sports and classic enthusiast so his cars are very much loved and cared for. As well as his beloved Porcshe 911 he also owns a truly stunning 1960’s Ford Mustang fast-back show car. When expense needs to be spent on his cars he does not cut corners. Since owning the Porsche the large milestones have been documented as follows:

108,000 – both front suspension top mounts were replaced.

108,700 – a brand new Dansk stainless steel sports manifold and silencers fitted.

110,600 – front shock struts, Bilstein B6. CV joint gaiter and left hand spring seat.

111,800 – Rear shock struts, Bilstein B6.

115,000 – Engine oil and filter change. Gearbox oil change.

116,100 – Stainless sports cats and two Lambda sensors fitted.

118,300 – Replaced the water pump.

121,600 – New clutch fitted. Air conditioning re-charged.

And now with brand new wheels and tyres too.

The car could benefit from a little time and money spent on improving the paintwork due to the lacquer being compromised in places and the bonnet has a few, noticeable stone chips. When carrying out the paint improvements there is a slight dink on the crease of the off-side front wing which can easily be removed. The worst affected areas for the lacquer is the front and rear bumpers.

As you can see from similar models on the market, they are priced at around £3,500 to £4,500 more than ours. We have priced the vehicle to give the new owner room to carry out the improvements whilst enjoying the car on a daily basis. We are able to carry out the paintwork if required but this will be charged as extra.

The cabin is a lovely place to be seated; the black leather is beautiful and the carpets are still in good order. The car comes with the original Porsche sat-nav CD’s to be able to operate both in the UK and overseas.

The car is very much priced right and a must see. As you would expect from a Porsche 911, one of the world’s most desirable sports car, the looks, sound and drive is simply wonderful.
