Classic Car Paint Restoration Specialist

 

It is the finer details that make the perfect restoration and perfection is all we accept at Bridge Classic Cars.

Established in 2004, Bridge Classic Cars offers a complete in-house service including restorations, engines, automotive electrics, service and repairs, interior trim, body preparation and paintwork.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Classic Car Paint Restoration Specialist.

An eye for detail, good time management and experience in a body shop is crucial.

The daily duties of the role include; bodywork stripping and preparation, smaller component painting, chassis painting and bodywork painting.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both solvent and water-based paint.

Job Type: Full-time

Classic Car Technician

 

If you have a passion for Classic Cars and most of the essential skills required in restoration and repair, then you could join our team as one of our Classic Car Technicians.

Welding, auto electrics, engine building, fault diagnostics, braking systems are all the key skills to become one of our Classic Car Technicians.

One of your key attributes must be your attention to detail at all times.

You must be passionate about classic cars and work to the highest of standards.

Panel Beater and Restoration Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater, Fabricator with a passion for Classic cars to join our experienced team of technicians.

The ideal candidate will have the necessary experience in metal fabrication and restoration welding.

Here at Bridge Classic Cars, we expect our personnel to work to exacting standards and most importantly share our passion for producing amazing quality classic cars and giving A1 service to each and every customer.

Auto Electrician

 

An exciting opportunity to join the team at Bridge Classic Cars as our Classic Car Auto Electrician. 

Must have a proven track record in this field. 

From full rewires using looms supplied by specialists through to rebuilding existing looms and fault finding predominately on classic cars. An occasional overlap into the more modern vehicles. This is a full time position and the applicant must be prepared to carry out other restoration duties when the volume of work dictates. A full driving licence is essential with trailer licence an advantage as pick up and delivery of vehicles is offered to our customers.

Competitive salary, 4 day working week Tuesday-Friday 6.30am-5.00pm, Overtime generally available, generous holidays and eligibility in joining the Bridge Classic Cars health scheme also available.

Workshop Assistant and Driver

 

Best suited to an experienced and multi-skilled individual with a positive attitude. The roles and responsibilities are widely varied.

The driving duties will entail; delivery and collection of our vehicles in our own 7.5 tonne car transporter and covered trailer. The successful applicant must have a suitable licence to drive both a 7.5 tonne lorry and vehicle with trailer. They must also hold a valid CPC.  We estimate four nationwide deliveries per month whilst the other driving is more in the East Anglia region. On a long trip it may be necessary to have a night away due to distance and Tachometer legislation.

Other duties will be to assist our workshop technicians as a second pair of hands and preparer of removed car parts. No experience required, training will be given.

The remaining duties will be the preparation and cleaning of customer’s and work’s vehicles.   

This may suit a person not wanting to work full time but the hours available will have to be flexible around our deliveries. 

Competitive salary; full or part time available.
